Have you ever smiled
across a room full of empty faces
at the one thing that seemed to sparkle
amidst all the muddied souls?
have you ever cried
when soemthing managed to permeate through that shell you create and touch you in a wat that was just too much
even after you thought you were lost in the darkness?
have you ever looked into my eyes
and seen something more than what i offer
something deeper than my touch skin
so that it broke you open?
your sparkle caught my eye
your touch made me want to pull away
but you held on tight
and when i looked up into your eyes
you tore me apart
and i fell into your arms, weeping
damnit boy
you make me cry
but you bever hurt me
didn't i once tell you
I don't know how to love unless it hurts?
